We know what you’re thinking. “Florals, for summer? Definitely groundbreaking.” Allow us to explain why: this blazing hot summer brings buckets of sweat, stuffy subways and ice-pop stained lips, so much so, that sometimes we forget about the beautiful greenery blossoming all around us. That is why we chose the High Line as our photo shoot location, where the great amount of bright flowers and shrubbery remind us to appreciate nature.
Photographer Molly Meisels did a superb job capturing the effusive charm and genuine enthusiasm of fashion blogger, Ana Scheidlinger, in the botanical surroundings. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
After looking at these photos, we hope the next time you’re tempted to stay indoors for fear of heat stroke, or worse, having to get dressed, you keep in mind that there is a breathtaking world out there waiting for you to “wake up and smell the roses.”
